How much is a load?
A load is 10 pounds of laundry, or about one basket full.
How long are the wash cycles?
Washers run 26-38 minutes depending on options.
Stack Dryers run 28 minutes with $1 start.
Large Dryers run 20 minutes with $1 start.
Additional dry time can be purchased for each .25¢ after machine start.
Can I use a soap pod?
Yes. But put them in with your clothes instead of the soap tray or they won’t melt properly.
How hot are the dryers?
When the dryer is in use, the current temperature can be displayed by simultaneously pressing the start button and any temperature button. It is normal for the temp to fluctuate +/- 5° or so.
Low - 140°
Medium - 160°
High - 180°
How full is full?
Your clothes need to tumble in both the washer and dryer for the machines to work effectively. If they can’t tumble, they won't get very clean or dry. So don't pack it too full.
